Ol' #7 plays all acoustic music from honky tonk, swing, folk, and bluegrass. You might hear everything from Hank Sr. to Earnest Tubb. Chris Strand, the guitar player and lead singer of Ol' # 7, writes some great songs that fit right in with the older country and western style covers they perform. Other members of the band include Dustin Norder on mandolin, Jennifer Hobbs-Brackenhoff on doghouse bass, and Bob Watson on 8-string resophonic guitar. Come on out and give them a listen at the CU Folk and Roots Festival!
