Rick Kubetz and Terry Bush both trace their musical roots to the coffee houses of the 1960s (even though they were children at the time). Today, they describe their music as “the sort of folk-rock jazz-pop smoothie that might be served up in a country blues bar.” Their songbook includes the humorous and the historic, “un-love love songs,” and a few hits that nobody else knows. They enjoy performing live—on 6- and 12-string guitars, mandolin and kazoo—and have been known to encourage the audience to sing along, “each in their own key, of course, in the best coffee house tradition.”
